Hannah has been hitting up Cornwall since she was tiny and got more involved with the surfing scene since coming to Uni. She loves surf club for the super chill people and chance to head to the beach every weekend. Hannah is super stoked to be organising the club this year and getting even more people out in the water. Luckily her organisational skills are better than her surfing.
Will first learnt to surf on a trip to Cornwall before uni. He instantly fell for the sexy sport and spends far too much time trying to be an absolute shreddarrrr and watching comps instead of working. He's stoked to help make the surf club as loose and fun as always for the year ahead.
Emily upgraded from body boarding to surfing during her first year of uni. She’s still getting the hang of it, most of the time she will be seen getting battered about in the white water. Despite this, she loves every minute. Emily is really excited to be leading the surfers play netters intramural team this year, and has high hopes for league domination.
A late edition to the surf club committee this year. Olly’s been surfing for 5 years now starting out in SW Oz during his gap yaahhhh. He’s been living down in Kernow for the past two years catching tasty nuggggs. This year he’ll be organising new competitions for EUSC. Giving Gus yet another chance to finally get a win. He’ll see you in the water kooooks
Rosie’s been a keen member of surf club since first year. Whether she’s trying to score a big one in the white water or showing off her skills in a self appointed game of last one to get naked stays naked in the streets of Lagos, you can count on her to always be up for it. She’s buzzing to be in charge of the club's wavy garms this year and get some pics of all the new members wiping out on the trips!
Growing up on the west coast of Ireland, Sophie has always had a love for the sea and became addicted to surfing as soon as she started. She’s most commonly known for expressing her undying love for the Atlantic and talking about getting barrelled at Mullaghmór (one day!). She’s super excited to sort you out with some beaut stash and make sweet edits of our trips!
Joe started surfing in the freezing waters of Newcastle so loves to make the most of the weekly surf trips to north Devon and Cornwall. He’s most likely to be found sunburnt outside the imperial and he’s super excited for another amazing year of surf club!
Ben learnt to surf age 13 thanks to his radical father. He is hooked on the sport and came to Exeter to chase waves as often as possible. He's mega excited to use his travelling skills he took to Aus to plan the best abroad trips and help get everyone bazzed!
Oli started surfing on camping trips to North Cornwall with his family before starting to go more often with his dad 6 years ago. He's since surfed all over the world and is stoked to take you guys to some of his favourite spots both in Kernow and abroad.
Gus started surfing aged 4 where he grew up in Jersey. He has since competed for the Channel Islands although is best known across the club for not winning BUCS last year. Gus is buzzing to plan some more of the loose socials surf club is so famous for. And might even win BUCS this year...
Mollie was taught how to surf by her gnarly granny, age 60 at the time and continues to surf with her every summer. Famous for sitting out back, Mollie prefers the waves and the good times to catch her. A real and authentic kook at heart.
